Anna Hazare, the crusader against Corruption, has brought the burning Issue of Corruption in India down to the common-man level. Everybody now realizes that Corruption needs to go. The whole nation has been galvanized behind this man in the fight against corruption. The Political establishment is shaking now and is in direct confrontation with the masses. Anna has almost achieved the impossible - get most of the masses in to the street to protest against corruption. But this has also opened up a big debate. Media has gone in to overdrive discussing the pro's and con's of this campaign. All of us definitely have strong opinions about all this. We have made up our minds about this fight against corruption one way or the other. Use this forum to vent your feelings.
To kick of the debate - we have put forward the following basic questions -
Is the Strong Lokpal Bill going to end corruption in India?
Is Anna's indefinite fast the only way forward now to get the bill passed through parliament?
What is the role that common man should play in the fight against corruption?
Isn't it necessary for all of us to commit that ' I SHALL NOT INDULGE IN BRIBERY/ OR ANY CORRUPTION' ?
Do you think that media has played a larger than life role in keeping this campaign alive?
Is the Govt. correct in its approach of following the Parliamentary protocols/ Constitutional authority of elected members?
