Magh Bihu 2020
AAK members celebrated Magh Bihu 20120 on January 16th and 17th in a Farm House at wafra. There was a huge gathering at Wafra Farm house. Uduka was celebrated on 17th night in the farm house which was fun-filled with bonfire, live music and bhoojbhat. Next day on the day of Bihu,, the multi-cuisines Jalpaan was solid hit and everyone relished it to the fullest. All the members has enthusiastically contributed with one or the other item, each one was indeed perfect like we find in Asom. Its really worth praising the ladies of AAK for putting so much effort and serving us with variety of Pitha-Pana, laaru, Jalpaan, which is very difficult to get here (specially the ingredients). The children and ladies had a Gala time enjoying various Fun-n-Games program The best part of the day was the mouth-watering menu of Bhoj-Bhaat.
Autumn Festival 2019AAK celebrated Autumn Festival on November 1st 2019 at Tamarind Restaurant, Abu Halifa. Junior members of AAK participated in the event and showcased their talents through various cultural programs. Event was followed by dinner.
AGM 2019The Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) held last Thursday, September 5th, 2019 at Mughal Mahal Fahaheel.

Main attraction of the event was famous singer from Assam Mr. Kallol Borthakur who mesmerised the audience with his melodious voice. Members also participated in various in house cultural program. Children Art Competition 2019Protham Bohag celebrated by AAK members
AAK Members celebrated Protham Bohag on April 13th 2018 at Green Island. Members put their effort to serve variety of traditional Pitha-Pana and mouth watering Bhoj Bhat. Children enjoyed the day with various fun and games activity in the island.
AAK Kids Performed at Namaste India![]() AAK junior members performed bihu dance at Namaste India 2018 organised by Indian Community School Khaitan on January 5th 2018. AAK Hon. President Mr. Nurul Huda received the Cultural Excellence Award from ICSK.
All AAK Members appreciated the junior members for showcasing Assamese cultural at the forum where representatives from various parts of India performed their traditional dance items. |

Asom Association Kuwait- Salve for Humanitarian Aid
![]() AASHA is a charitable trust under Asom Association, Kuwait (AAK). This is an attempt to support our brothers and sisters in our homeland. AASHA will try to support needy people through difficult times. Fund will be generated on the basis of voluntary DONATIONS and members can VOLUNTEER any number of donations in a year. Minimum limit for such donation on each occasion is KD10.
AASHA is in budding state and needs your support to grow further. AASHA is trying to find out the best credible organization for our charity efforts.
